This was the first song that fueled the rest of this album. I began writing this at the end of 2008, when I was gigging a lot. It was very different from anything I had written before. I had been to New York earlier that year and saw a man on the underground very distressed. From what he was saying it was clear he had mental health problems, possibly schizophrenia. I researched schizophrenia, and wrote the song. It is, for me, the centrepiece of the album. .
