Formerly 'Be Lucky (You made me smile when nothing else would)' (2007), I adapted this tune to make it work with this album. I used a higher fret, and plucked the chords differently. This song is about a homeless person who used to live under the red pedestrian bridge over the River Clyde, Glasgow. These used to be a mattress under there,nd it always made me think. The music is a quiet dance beat, subtle bass and guitars, synth with soaring vocals. This song is also on 'Opus. 1' (2011) as an acoustic version.
If you've been craving something dark and gritty yet stylish and dancefloor-ready, this hard-edged industrial synth opus might fit the bill. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 16, 2024
