Kings of the Underworld

from After the Rush Hour's Gone by Wullae Wright

/

about

The song is written about a taxi journey I had when returning from seeing my wife one night. I always felt the motorway at night was so incredibly atmospheric. It was written in 2007/08. There were additional lyrics which were never used because when I performed the song live, I could never remember them. The song is about gangsters in Glasgow, the gang culture around the city. It is a gritty, raw rock/indie tune.
