The name of this song was taking from a quote in a Forensic Psychology book I was reading whilst at university. It is about the convincing mask psychopaths can have when committing horrible crimes. The song was written in 2009 and is centred around a bass riff I had recorded in 2007 and never used. The song is primarily made up of different noises. This was the first of my songs to have a solo made up of purely noise, no guitars or piano.
